It is a different and refreshing kind of a restaurant may it be the décor or the food. They are famous for their Italian fare, including the pizzas, pastas and gelatos. The décor needs a special mention. The entire place including the roof is made up of bamboo. The place might seem wobbly, especially when you get onto the first floor but then rest assured, the place is quite sturdy. The ground floor has all little snacks like sandwiches, French fries and desserts. The first floor is the place to dine and has furniture that oddly again looks like it is made of bamboo.
The fare as already mentioned is all Italian though at lunch time biriyanis are also available at around Rs.100. Not a bad offer at all, especially considering the taste and the size of the portion served. Amongst the pizzas I would like to give special mention to ‘Vezuvio’ which is a chicken topping pizza. The pizzas are said to be medium sized but believe me they are definitely large. One thing that I really liked about it was that the base was very filling. You could go with a very hungry crowd but the Vezuvio would be able to handle them all! Though I am not a pasta person, I really did like the pasta served up at the place. Just be sure to ask for the red sauce. Even the garlic bread was quite tasty.
Now comes the part that all sweet tooth bearers would love to know about. Yes the dessert corner in Itty’s-Thi3d place is indeed the very best! They whip up the very best in desserts. One must try out the gelatos that are basically ice creams but extremely soft and just melts in your mouth. The tiramisu flavor holds true to its Italian heritage and is captivating. And if you are on a diet and need to tame your sweet tooth, do not worry. They provide you with yummy sugar free desserts! What more can one ask for?
The affordability, the taste and the easily accessible location all make it a must go to restaurant. And for those who are just too lazy to get moving, they also provide home delivery within a limited range. So Bon Appetit everyone!!
