If you love the moments of life you live and love to capture those moments in your own unique way and you love when the camera says “Click”, then photography is the best profession for you. Photography is an art as well as a skill which takes time to be developed. As it is said “Little knowledge is 
dangerous”, you need to have complete knowledge of cameras and all the technical knowledge needed by a photographer.
In order to choose photography as a career you need to undergo a formal training on photography. The best way to have such training is to work for a newspaper or a magazine where you will get the desired training and valuable experience as well. If you wish to take your expertise to next level then you should work with some photographer who has a lot of experience in the field. There are many degree and diploma courses available in photography which makes the person eligible for any photography job.

- Advertising: Advertising is one profession where photography skills can be best applied. “A picture is worth a thousand words”, advertisement without photographs fails to generate the impact on the mind of customer. In many cases just the photograph of the product may be sufficient to attract many customers.
Wildlife Photography: In order to be a wildlife photographer you need to have interest in nature and its diverse flora and fauna. The Photographer must be a keen and patient observer in order to excel in the profession of wildlife photography.- Scientific Photography: Scientific photography involves use of sophisticated instruments to photograph the phenomena which are not visible with naked eye. Ultraviolet imaging and infrared imaging are some of the techniques used by the scientific photographers. The photographer must have some knowledge on subjects of biology and engineering.
