Kittu and Mintu
Today, I got up early in the morning, I wanted to adopt healthy routines leaving all the laziness. After getting fresh, moved on to the kitchen to prepare tea for me and my husband. KIds were still sleeping. It was their winter vacation, so I didn't want to disturb them. Kittu and Mintu were looking so innocent and sweet. There was not naughtiness on their faces. Kittu and Mintu were twins and both were seven years old now.
It was very tough to raise the two kids together but now the tough times were over and I was happy to see both of them playing and growing together. Both were in the same class and their faces were so similar that teacher was always confused to find out who is who? Both of them used to enjoy this confusion and felt so excited to tell me the whole day events in the evening.
I too enjoyed their activities. Me and my husband both were happy with our family life and thankful to Almighty for the blessings.
One day Kittu and Mintu were coming back from school and they found a dog lying unconcious on the roadside at the gate of our colony's main gate. Both of them decided to help it. They tried to touch and see but atonce it woke up and had bitten Kittu's leg. It was bleeding badly. Actually it was a stray dog that was sleeping not unconcious.
Kittu and Mintu both ran inside the colony crying loudly. The watchman went to the boys and was asking about the happening. In the meantime, I had also heard their cries and reached there.
Kittu was so scared that he just stuck to me and my sari. I took Kittu inside the home and washed his wound, telephoned my husband and when he came we went to the doctor.
There Kittu was given the vaccine and other treatment.
Now my twins were so scared of the dogs that they decided not to touch any stray one.
