If this plan fails then Delhi government will say that police is not doing its work and Delhi police is under center. I think there will be conflicts between Delhi police and Delhi government. What may be fated behind this decision, it is not question. But it fact that it is need of  time. If we want to control on pollution than we must be do some thing to reduce the numbers of vehicles on road.

Ideal behaviour comes with practice and maturity and still a degree of intolerance to criticism remains.

This is a historians perspective , I guess some people would puck holes even into it if it does not suit them..However, very detailed information about a period of history when people laid down their life for the upkeep of Hinduism and the nation .. http://www.hinduhistory.info/the-epic-27-year-war-that-saved-hinduism/

General people are not at all happy with such a decision. Let's see what happens. They need to find out other meaningful ways and must talk to Police department before jumping to any decision making. Even they could have asked for opinion from the public before taking up this decision. People's suggestion may have helped to curb pollution in a much better and convenient way.

Leader are not innocent one, they are much and much sly and crafty. Our law also support these. Remember bribe scandle at time of Narsimha Rao government. Narsimha Rao gave bribe Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader to won the vote of confidence. But because of our law they survive safely.

Most of peoples of India aware with greatness of Shivaji Maharaj. I was not a student of history but I know about Shiavaji Maharaj. Indeed history is written by winners. In Mugal period it was written to please Mugals emiors and after freedom it was written by communists. Maharan Pratap was also great king of Rajasthan who whole life fought with Akba. But history said the Great Akbar, than what is Maharana Pratap?

Shivaji was a great king who fought the powerful Moghuls to expand his empire which was a legitimate goal of the hundreds of kings who existed at that time. He was an empire builder and also a great tactician in guerrilla warfare. He built a large number of forts spread over a large area many of which are standing today also. Like Akbar consolidated the Mughal empire his father/grandfather established, Shivaji greatly consolidated the Maratha empire his father established. The Maratha empire spread from Deep South to North but faced two large defeats against the Afghan Abdalli and later on the British. The Maratha empire was for a large period rule by the Peshwas and not the descendents of Shivaji. IN South and Bengal the rule was enforced very harshly especially in the collection of farm produce from farmers. Shivaji was a noble king who fought to protect and also expand his empire. The Peshwas joined hands with the last Mughal king in the 1857 uprising against the British. It is later on that it has been converted into a Hindu versus Muslim battle which is strictly not true. It is because of this twist that perhaps many are not responding in the forum out of politeness. But I have and you can stat pouring the secular or non secular venom against my remarks. However I maintain that Shivaji seen as a king was a fantastic king.

If parking rules are made very strict with parking fees increased at all places , the number of private vehicles might come down. In many western countries especially in London people seldom use car while driving to the city center because of the exorbitant parking charges.

Now AAP wants to try it for 15 days and then give it up if found impractical to enforce. There is no alternative but to provide for huge investment in public transport like more buses and metros and enforcing congestion tax to force cars off roads. One day in a week can be made a car less day in different areas by turn.

Maybe car manufacturers will sell more cars and RTO Babus will earn more money for providing right kind of numbers as per demand.       I was thinking the same thing that initially it might work but our people are great at hoodwinking the system and before you know the number of vehicles on road will be the same as before..

Most people are unable to take any criticism against them whereas they happily do so about others...The moment you start questioning your own behavior and whether there is credence to what the other person is saying, there would be no need for any major misunderstanding.

Clash of opinion and understanding within a relationship definitely helps to know each other better. This is really a healthy way to strengthen a bond but the moment people start nursing a grudge against each other in any relationship then it gradually becomes ugly. We all need to understand this that disagreement of thought is not a reason to ruin a relationship of any kind.

I read a lesson about Shivaji during my school days (Up to 8th) but most of the book was full of Moughals, British and Congress leaders. In fact I never liked history just because I was not interested in who was father of Babar or who was his son. I could never relate with them properly and neither understood the point why was I required to memorize their birth dates. I was greatly relieved when there was no necessity to study from class 9th onward. But I feel it if they had taught us more about our own heroes, I would have concentrated more on history. But personally speaking I have learnt everything about our own heroes on my own.

Delhi Police and Delhi Government are always at loggerheads and no doubt this decision will fuel the conflict which is between them. People not only move within the city but regularly travel long distances such as Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Sonipat, Faridabad and many more for their work from Delhi. Such a decision will create huge problem for the commuters because inconvenience is bound to take place.
