Exactly, still the related degrees help your cause, like I have an MBA with Mechanical engg. For me a law or medicine would be of no use but blocking a seat only.

One can add as many as he or she is inclined to but when it comes to market realities - there should be logicality in the academic profile!
That's what I mean I know a gentleman with masters in as many as 22, I am not sure if ever had a chance to utilize any of them.

Too many masters makes one a slave!

Undoubtedly, most of the masters are either slaves already or willing/trying to be one.

I too have two professional degrees in hand!!!

I feel, officials at top positions will be envious if he see any sub-ordinate having more degree than him. Sometimes, hiding extra degrees at the time of interviews can help him a lot for getting that job, my husband say so!!

This is what I wanted to convey. Too many degrees spoil the job prospects. Also, over qualification may also not be desirable. A Post Graduate will be considered over qualified for a peon or even clerk post. Organizations require adequate and proper qualifications and not extra or over qualified persons.

During my government service, I came across a clerk who possessed PH.D degree. His degree was not in office record. But all knew and addressed him as 'Doctor Saheb'. He was not very efficient and others would make fun of his being 'doctor'.
