Bhuddha Deva Bhattacharya of West Bengal. His wife. a corporate employee and daughter, a student always traveled by city bus unlike children of other politicians. apparently, Bhattacharya had no car for his family.

Frankly it is very few people who think along those lines that the simpler the politician the better example he is setting.The majority of the people feel that there is something wrong with these politicians since they have no car and the usual trappings of power.I have heard people say that 'may be he is not respected and has no power thats why he has no car...little do they know that a car is provided for using when they attend their duties which is in the capital city Bangalore, whereas at his home constituency he manages as before...

I agree, there are many such leaders among the Communist party more so among Marxists who think differently to that of a normal politician whose sole interest is to further his/her own career and personal assets..
