    A girl is curious to know why men don't cover their faces as women do. any answer?

    Who say women to cover their face. Men also cover their face in summer to save them self with hot winds.


    Actually, the girls sees women going in Burqua. she is curious to know why men also do not cover their faces like women.


    We only cover beautiful things, who the heck is going to look with lusty eyes on man's ugly face?


    Why, is lust and the look of lust restricted to only men?


    In fact, women have been treated as 'property' in male dominated society. So, men protect the women just as they do with 'other items'.


    This is due to the outdated beliefs that are deeply rooted in the society especially in the Indian society.

    Not only in India but women all over the world use it, some use it to protect from dust and sun. It started in Arab world to protect from sun and dust storms later taken by other muslim countries as the took Arabian language. You can see Arabian dress as muslim dress in our own country. In Australia also you can see muslim women using Hijab commonly. They say when nuns can use a headgear as religious sign, what is wrong with hijab for muslim women? They are right, even Hindu and sikh women cover their heads. Men also do the same but original reasons were different.

    There is nothing wrong or right in covering faces. This is a matter of custom. Just a girl had curiosity to know why women only and not men cover faces. This has been amply discussed. .

    Oh yes I agree it has been discussed enough from every angle and there is no point taking it further to make it controversial. It's matter of customs.
