This is not shocking to me. As Sri Lankans are always war minded. It is a proven fact from the issue of Tamil Civilians being killed in Sri Lanka.

Now is the time for Buddhist to attack Muslims in Myanmar. However they had reason for their anger. Govt. should haved pacified the situation and done justice to all.

If they can turn a peace loving religion into a warring group, I am afraid the world is going to see many such groups in future. We need more practical views from all concerned.

Every religion is a peace loving religion. Did we not announce at the top of our voice the essence of Geeta as ,”Ahimso Parama Dharmaha”? And it’s the same with all religions. With the time these concepts and roots undergo change in accordance with the prevailing conditions. If one religion known for its peace loving principles sees that its survival is at stake it leaves behind all its principles and holds the collar of the other religion.

Tolerance and religion seems two opposite poles in modern times. Gone are the days when religion taught love and peace, the opposite is right in modern day style.

Even the famous philosopher Jiddu Krisna murthy says don't believe a thing because a long bearded man said. He further insists on convincing yourself using your rationality and logic. Your belief itself is your religion. No need of any other religion.
