    Now Indians are preferring phablets. These are a combination of mobile phone and tablet.

    Combinations are the IN things in the Smart phone market. Phablet which is a phone with large screens is a new entrant which is gaining ground. Of course the upsurging trend will remain for some time until another new combination gadget comes in to the market which will not be more than a month at the most.


    Well sir i believe it will last much longer.. So many good things... phone, watch movies , play games.. lovely battery backup.. I am using one... Its awsome.. save me the burden of carryinh laptop... Its perfect..


    I don't deny. What I meant was its popularity will become less the moment another smart phone enters with more user friendly features. The technology's pace is so fast, every day a new innovation is surfacing.


    Yes agreed, but they will give different name to the same thing... Smart phones have changed the life to a great extent..


    Smart phone is a gadget created by man. A gadget cannot change a man's life. It's only man can change his life. Warren Buffett, one of the richest in the world and the smartest investors never uses a cell phone.Never uses a credit card. Tatas built their empire without phones.


    Things change... time change.... What done without these things that time doesn't mean it will be same now... things do change and we have to move with time..


    Times change. Its its nature. Its also necessary to change along with the times. Here comes your discretion. Discretion to adopt those changes necessary and suitable is the trait of a wise man. If a change threatens you to leave you high and dry one must adopt it for his own life’s sake. If it is not, discard it. Rushing after every change is craziness. Life goes on even without gadgets.

    Phablet is phone plus tablet, tablet used to have large screen but cannot call from there, and phone has medium screen and can call from that device, phablet is a hybrid version of the two, in which you have large screen starting from 4.7 inch and you can browse internet and other push notifications such as Facebook, Gmail, Twitter and so. In the process you are always on connectivity with good mobile OS such as Android you can do multiple task from it, even I am writing this comment from Galaxy phone it is smart and easy.

    YEs.. Big screens with phone feature is getting popular in all over the world. Personally I prefer not very big screen but yes having big screens have many benefits too.

    No gadget can fully cater to the 100 percent needs of the user. Size of the smart phone may attract some. But the other utilitarian aspects may not be in the same league. Some gains are always followed by some losses.

    I mentioned the combination just as an ideal one for one who frequently travels. For me just an ordinary mobile phone suffices. I have two desk top computers- one at residence and other in office. So I don't even need a lap top.

    Phablet with five inch is good and comfortable, but beyond that size is trouble some to hold it and sometimes carrying these large phones is trouble some.
