    What made that come to this conclusion.. May be they didn't knew the names of other which were prevailing at that time... Could it ?


    This disease also finds place in Ayurveda and ancient medicine systems by different names.
    This means it is there in ancient times, and there should be healing procedures in Ayurveda from ancient times, it is surprisingly how some diseases are still there, from the time of immemorial to the present times and also some new diseases are addition to modem day life style like that of AIDs.

    Yes in Ayurveda, it's known as "kshaya." You can find its reference in the treatise known as "Charaka Samhita. "

    TB is oldest disease. But Today TB is completely curable disease.
