Swami Ramdev, ths saffron saint who worked tirelessly for saffron victory in last elections has called for boycott of makers of the movie PK. This is what the saffron block is for doing to all dissenters and will not allow freedom of expression and art. In case saffron bloc gets absolute majority, we can well fear total destruction of individual freedom and democracy.

Will the other religion groups allow saffron brigade to criticize or point to their shortcomings etc. Answer in YES for once and see where we land. Why make Hindus a soft target? We have had enough of it.

No matter what the saffron, green or red brigade might want to impose, it is ultimately the peoples choice that is going to prevail....What is not favorable will be thrown out unceremoniously !

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Just now Subramanium Swamy has stated that PK has been financed by ISI of Pakistan as reported by newsX.

Our Indian character of tolerance is being taken as a weakness and we are treated as Door mats for centuries. It's high time to show what we are.

I saw PK and there is no insult of any religion leave alone Hinduism in the movie. It gives a message of hypocrisy in all religions being exploited by so called godmen. It has been seen in record numbers and has collected more than Rs 230 crores. The audience consists of more than 95% Hindus. Are they all fools to appreciate a good movie. If godmen get rightly exposed and people stop patronising them their shops will get closed. It is they who are after this protest by right wing elements under the guise of Hinduism being criticised and insulted. I dare say that Suni51 and Rambabu have not watched the movie .If they had they would not express their views as they have. Unfortunately in this case they seem to have fallen into a trap. I am sorry at taking names but feel in this case the comments are not proper .

I will not go in detail but would like an answer to my query in one line

Will other religious groups accept my criticism however positive in a positive manner?

Which color whatever be it may be, But Modi govt is on right track,as after screening Maharastra govt under so called safron brigade, ruled that if fringe elements wish it to be banned then they should go to Supreme court, a real justice from so called safron block is not it. But green brigade, ruled in Karnataka, is making laws to overtake resources of Hindu temples and maths but not of other religions yet no one is defying it strange but true.

I have not seen PK. But I saw the trailor. I feel that Hindu religion allows dissent an discussion. If there is any criticism of some practices, nothing wrong. There is tradition of discussion (shastrarth or debate) But criticism and insult differ.  It appears that there is some inslt to Hindu deities in the movie PK. The insult is definitely not tolerable in any condition. I am an atheist and do not believe in any religion. But I ill definitely not insult and deity and never do anything that may hurt religious sentiments of any one. The makers of the movie should consider the objections and themselves remove any objectionable scenes in the movie.

I think atheism in itself is kind of religion, a sect of people who do not know whether to believe or not. But if they do have no faith they always remain neutral. They do not take sides of any one, nor criticize the ones trying to defend their own religion.

  The answer is YES.

Right thinking people in all religions accept positive criticism. The percentage of fringe elements in some religions is more and some less. But should they decide the agenda? In India and Pakistan fundamental parties based on religion dogmas have always been rejected by voters. What more proof is needed. They have to be dealt with firmness and should be ignored.
