    One need not be member of C.P.I.(M) to be a Marxist. som Nath Chatterjee was expelled from CPI(M). Ideologically, he is still a Marxist. He will campaign for the party.

    Left Front has not appreciated foul language used by a CPI(M) M.P. against Mamata Banerjee. This is indeed exemplaty conduct. Other parties like Congress, Trinmool etc. use intemperate and abusive language during poll campaign routinely. Bhattacharya pointed out that some slanderous and false remarks were made by opposition about his daughter as well.

    Trinmool Congress and Congress have not been able to maintain unity. The area of North Bengal, where polling concluded had many congress rebels, BJP candidates and seperatists of Gorkha League movement. Here Congree TMC may not get the sort of success that was being proclaimed so far. The Left is down but not vanished. Now the media is also subdued. The fact of paid news in favor of congress TMC alliance is also revealed. In these circumstances, outcome of results is indefinite.

    Not only in West Bengal but everywhere, all parties claim success before actual results.
