Sharon, may be your blog design is incomplete and you havn't put much posts there. I am guess your blog is having less than 10 posts.

The mail you got is pre-templated and not everything that is written in it would apply to you. It is just that you were screened out in the preliminary test.

Just put up 10 posts, have a home and privacy page and make your blog look neat.
This time you may get an error that your blog is not 6 months old. So my advice would be to maintain that blog, add few posts each week and apply for adsense once in a month.

I was also asked to wait for 6 months (I applied through google sites) but got approved in 3 months.

P.S. Impression or the popularity of the blog does not count at all. The adsense team has no access to these data and they are least bothered too. All they want is a complete blog,(with some post, pages, privacy policy etc).

Have a look at this blog : http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/

This blog has a FAQ page contact page, about page etc. These are static pages and if you are using google adsense it is necesary that you have a privacy page.

You can create page in blogger. There is a option for that, I don't exactly remember where, but I guess if you make a new post, it is in one of the tabs there.
Yes Arun, I saw many such blogs. But don't know how to create one like that.

Well, I have already shared some of my secrets but I guess they got buried in the thousands of forum topics that starts here everyday.

I will quickly summarize my tips to increase your earnings from adsense in brief:

1.Write online for the US market. You will get paid more.

2.Write only on topics which you can get your article on the front page and preferably in the top 3.
(The top 3 pages normally gets the highest payings ads which are mentioned in adwords tool)

3.I also don't use adsense when I write about some products. Coz adsense will only pay some cents for a click and if you sell a product you will get commission in dollars.

Here are the third party affs:

I use Amazon most of time and I am also accepted in shareasale, pepperjamnetwork, commision junction. They have thousands of merchants offering their products.

I select products that goes with the content of my article and also offers decent commission.

I hope that helps Santosh. I really think anyone can reach the 10 dollar mark if they put in some smart work. One just have to thik things from searcher and business point of view.

Thanks arun for the cpmprehensive post but pl clear some more doubts:
1.Does third party marketing require having an adsense a/c?i guess it does not.in that casedoes it mean i create a blog and immediately start TPM and earning provided i get sufficient traffic? or is it otherwise?
2.Apart from traffic and subject of the blog what do TPs look for in ur blog for selling their products?
3.If i have an adsense a/c and connect to this, one such blog where i do TPM , does it violate adsense policies? In that case should i rear these blogs separartely?
4. Does commission component require contacting TPs on individual level?

1. You don't need an adsense account to sell third party affiliates. And how much money you make depends on the quantity and type of traffic you get.

2. Well, to be honest most third party affiliates don't give a damn what type of blog you have. They will only pay when you sell their product, so it is totally on you. Though more established brands will take a closer look at your blog.

3. You can use any third party affiliates with adsense. There would be no problem at all. You just can't use any similar contextual advertising network like Adsense.

4. Well, everything is automated. You won't need to contact anyone. The commissions will directly show up on your dashboard.

I hope that solves your query Rajesh.
