    Santosh- People sacrifice for their own taste and lust and not for God. God is either non existent or is just a figure head like a country's President. People do everything in name of God but only for themselves. They want to be happy themselves and have no intention to make God happy. God is taken for granted.

    According to my religious belief we are asked to sacrifice animals at special occations like Idul Azha (Bakreed).So I don't think it is not good.

    Abid you didn't mention, that it is distributed to the poor who can't afford to buy
