    So investing of Gold is better than any other metal.

    I studied in Ayurveda book Gold is also in our body. It is available in all parts of the earth in small quantities.

    Gold can be melted and made into another ornament. If we feel the ornament which we using is out of fashion then we can make it melt and design it again.

    but Platinum cannot be done like that. No smith will accept to take platinum and redesign it.

    More over, Platinum looks like black metal.

    I will tell you one example. Thieves robbed a politicians house but they only taken gold and left the platinum. as they dont know that it is platinum they thought it is blackmetal and it is waste

    Ornament is primarily for looking good. If gold looks better than platinum, there is no use why gold not be preferred.

    I guess we having this same thing since long.. Surely platinum is more precious than gold but still people only going for gold... May be because people like to have golden jewellery more..

    Because we don't get ornaments of platinum. :)

    Moreover i think gold is more ductile than platinum but i am not sure. :)
