    Hi Anand,
    Kalyani rightly suggested you the effective treatment for tonsilitis.
    One thing I would like to add is try eating bland and liquid diet or semi - liquid diet like some vegetable juices, soups or milk.
    You can also take milk and add a pinch of turmeric powder and drink every day.

    If you have fever or severe pain in the tonsils then dont wait , immediately go to doctor as you may need some antibiotics to control the infection.

    @sarla.. In past, one of doctor already suggested me to go for the operate, and its on little advanced state. But then few doctors suggested me to not to go for operate unless they become so problematic, because they are good for heart some how.. Don't know the detailed information.

    @Sheetal..I just started using turmeric powder.. Hope it will be workout for me. About fever, I am already having it since yesterday night.. But it happened every time I faced tonsil problem, so I am not considering it much.

    Thank U very much.. I gargle with turmeric in the salt water yesterday two times, and now I got 50% relief from my problem. I don't even get fever what I got day before yesterday...

    You are most welcome, Anand. I am glad it helped you a lot! Turmeric is the best thing that is very very helpful for many ailments.

    If you have this problem always, why don't you try homeopathy? When I was a child I was frequently ill with the same problem and doctors insisted that my tonsils be removed. But my mother would not hear of it and got me treated by a homeopath, and thanks to her, I never had a problem with it and did not have to undergo surgery! :) :) :)

    Even I don't want to go for surgery, as some doctor's told my dad that it is good for resistance power..

    About my problem, it is almost solved now, thanks to you. :)

    Yes, I am facing this problem whenever I drink something cool, like cold water and cold drink.. So mostly I avoid it. But still it is very hard to avoid all those in this hot summer.. So sometimes it affect me.

    I never go for homeopathy for this. I have heard some good results from this, I will try this too for the permanent solution.

    Yes, you should definitely try homeopathy because it will cure your problem permanently and you can eat and drink cold foods as much as like!! :)

    My daughter had also tonsil problem and doctor said for surgery. We took Homeopathy for at least five year. Now she is cured.

    Anand, honestly homeopathy will help you, but there are some strict rules that must be followed and some food stuffs you need to avoid. If you follow it all diligently, it will definitely help you 100%!
