Yes we can only maintain good relationship when we accept and respect the differences between their nature and other things.

Yes, right. Like we all are maintaining in a way... :) :)

True relations are maintained by turning away from the others' deficiencies . They don't believe neither in judging nor trying to rectify the deficiencies in other.

At the same time people do change to a certain extent to accomodate others that is natural....If a person is rigid it is impossible to maintain a positive healthy relationship...

Rigidity has no place in relationship. And yes, one has to be also understanding and look at the bigger picture always.

Any relationship be it a friendly or marital, the involved people should accept each other as they are. Only then respect on each other will grow and the relationship strengthens.
@ Kalyani - Sometimes you have to give in in spite of your principles and convictions.

I agree at times we have to Bend backwards to make certain relationships work... In Indian households I see this happening in Daughter in law, mother in law and even husband wife relationships..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

If relatinships is to be considered as of life optimizer, then first point comes to mind is happiness, temporary separation as famous psychologists griban said, love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.

I think it is precisely because of this that a wise quote Never say never was coined...In life we can never be 100% sure of anything and cannot take things for granted even with our near and dear ones...

Relationships are giving them what you want to get from them.
