As kalyani rightly said, the topic is exhausted and s locked. I agree. But let me take an opportunity to reply. I am really thankful to all members for giving exhaustive replies after stying the topic well. I wished to know why Rajasthani, Maithili, Bhojpuri are considered Hindi whereas Marathi, Punjabi and Bengali are separate languages. If rajasthani, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Brijbhasha, avadhi are excluded from definition of Hindi, almost noody will be considered Hindi speaking. There appears n logic in this. all these languages are kindred.
But it appears that some languages are considered as mere dialect and included in Hindi. In this connection, great injustice is done to avadhi in which Ram charit manas by Tulsidas great poet ia written as well as Brij Bhasha in which Soordas, greate poet wrote Soor Sagar on topic of motherly love of Yashoda towards Child Krishna.
Thanks all. The topic is however locked and no futher post is necessary.
