I know, there are several hotels run by Anthropolic organizations in AP . In Tirupati , many families who are committed to serve food for the pilgrims  cheaply using best of the material. The entire family take to preparation of food. These hotels do not want any propaganda. And these are located in humble localities. That's why they are available for throwaway prices.

I was Chennai from 20 th to 31st December, Though I am vegetarian but my food habits are different, I like foods from the Royal's Regency though, what I like abt. here is the simplicity of people and willing to help visitors, which is not there probably in other metros. I would like to know good bengali resturant, as my food habits with that of Bengali food habits are almost same, any one have any suggestion, though. 

I'm  confused. You said you visit Chennai  from 20- 30 December. Today is Jan 1. Please clarify.

I visited Chennai from 21st December to 29 th and reached Puri at 30th of December. Train was on 29th December Monday weekly train Puri Chennai super fast express.

Annapoorna of calcutta - Panthene road egmore is a famous Bengali restaurant in Chennai. All the people working in that hotel are Bengali speaking person.

I know other two restaurants but did not know about the quality of food.

Bayleaf - Gopalapuram and KolkattaQ-T.Nagar.

I would really like to see Saravana Bhavan open a branch in Pune. Puneites already pay out an enormous amount of money for meals outside, and for once I would like to enjoy the money's worth!
