Too much price for a watch, sorry smart watch! But dumb or smart, what is exactly the use of a smart watch?? I fail to understand.

As much as I know this smart watch keeps an eye on users health related issues and warns them if anything found suspicious with heart or brain etc. 

Time is most scare and is costly whatever be price of watch. Time is more precious than watch. Anyone has only twenty four hours a day and not more. Then the value of time disposable with an individual depends how he can use this. Obviously a doctor's time is more precious than that of a peon.  

What are its features. If the features are that good which justifies its cost, then it's OK. As far as I'm concerned, I'm satisfied with my present watch which is giving me excellent service.

Smart watch is a smart phone which can be strapped like a watch on the wrist instead of carrying it in hand or pocket. It has additional features related to health indicators.It is not a simple watch costing high.It is a technologically a superior product and savy customers will buy it all over the world. Yes it is costly because for such products "skimming pricing" policy is followed where development costs are sought to be recovered in short time before competition catchs up and prices start falling. Time can be valued by persons irrespective of a watch's cost.

I asked the thread poster to provide the details. Unless the details are provided, I cannot say anything about smart phone. Till then my present wrist watch is my smart watch.

As far as I know I don't think they are providing that much features which can justify its cost. Its just brand related that's what I think.

Features, yes its provide some health related features, for example heart related or something like that, but we can get same features in low cost gadget too. Other features are quite common, which provide notifications for messages, mail, schedules, etc.

This much price for all these is tooooooooooo high.  

If the features are not so extraordinary. There is no NEED TO THINK ABOUT the smart phone.

True. For possessing one good thing, you are forced to buy another. Anyhow even for this, there are buyers. It's a manufacturers' world.
