Man’s achievements in different spheres are no doubt great undoubtedly. But a cipher before the mighty nature. Recent earthquake in Nepal proves again that Man is nothing before nature. What’s your take on this count. Let’s discuss.

Man would think he/she is the mightiest race, but it is not even an atom at the front of mighty nature, where within one minute all forms of modern cement structures fell into decadence and suddenly all forms of modern communication stops and this shows how weak are we in front of mother nature.

If we pay attention to the nature and keep its sanctity, Nature bestows bounty on the humans to some extent. But there are calamities on which none has the control.

It goes without saying that man is too small in the vast ocean of space and time.  There is no end to space and what we know must be very tiny portion of the endless universe. also human life and history is too small. The universe would have existed even billions of years ago and will exist ever even after human race is extinct.

Man is too trivial and insignificant before nature. Also it is quite evident that hell hath no fury before nature. You tinker with nature, mess with it and you get the same returned with thanks a thousand times!

"I am free of all prejudice. I hate everyone equally."

And for this short lived glory which he brags standing atop Himalayas, to day he's lying lifeless under the very Himalayan snow landslides.

Man is an infinitesimal being in front of the infinite nature. From time immemorial, nature has astonished him with its unpredictable expressions making him helpless and insecure. That was why primitive men assigned bodies and spirits to the natural forces, personified them and worshipped them with fear and devotion; which was the very basis of Religion.

It means, man knew the power of nature. Still he couldn't escape from the fury of nature. Nature has its own way of controlling the man. Nature hasnt allowed the man to know all it's immense strength only to keep the man under its control.

Of course there is no doubt that Nature is all powerful and unless we respect, fear and go along with nature , we have to face the consequences....We need to teach our youngsters to do the same . Nepal tragedy is really shocking and I sincerely hope that there are no more calamities there since there has been news that there is a lot of pressure within the earth under the Himalayan region and unless many small tremors take place which release the pressure there could be a much higher disastrous quake reaching a magnitude of 9 on Richter scale !

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Long ago as early as 1962, experts realized that there are certain regions in India prone to earth quakes. Consequent to this Bureau of Indian standards BIS formulated a set of standards according to which buildings should be built to counter the effects of earth quakes. Except Delhi's Metro project and the buildings in Bhuj, Gujarat, we're built according to BIS standards. As usual BIS standards were forgotten.

It's time to make the amends in order to avoid loss of property and lives caused by Earth quakes, which are more likely to hit India more frequently.

Whatever achievement men will get they will not able to control the nature any time. It is just out of bound.
