It is a great thing that we can get some idea about the higher and lower risk zone areas. This will be helpful for taking precautions and planning better disaster management activities in advance, instead of the last minute rush and tension. Still the predictions are incomplete, and we can expect anything at anywhere at any time, because nature’s nature is unpredictable.

As the technology advances, certainly we can predict precisely when a natural calamity occurs. Japan and Mexico which are very prone to earth quakes and Tsunamis mastered the safety measures and implement well in advance . Thus they are able to minimize the loss of lives and property  though it's not possible to stop the natural calamities in toto.
