You remember yourself but remind others. If you forget something but this flashes in your mind, either by trial or otherwise, this is called remembering. When somebody forgets and you make him remember, this is called reminding.

The word 'Reminder' is derived from 'remind' . when your work is delayed by some office, you send them a letter for your work, this is called 'reminder'.

between remember and remind many confusions occur even we all know the exact meaning we make mistakes occasionally......
Remember = events, things happened in past are remembered
remind = you alert others about anything.....
