The famous AKSHARDHAM Mandir of DELHI is just 4~5 Kms away from my homme and daily i pass from there to go to my office. :(

I visited the AKSHARDHAM Mandir twice and really amazing one.

The biggest temple in Gujrat is Akshardham in Gandhinagar. The Delhi is onlly its replica. Am I right friends or its look alike?

I do not know about Delhi's Akshardham because I have never been there but Gandhinagar's Akshardham is just too beautiful and magnificent!

Although, according to the topic shouldn't we be discussing about lesser known structures and not famous ones???

Akshardham Temple in Gujarat is the built first Delhi's temple was built just 10~12 years ago (not sure). But its really beautiful people who come to Delhi don't go back without seeing it.You must see it if get a chance.

There are many historic places in Agra- like Chini Ka Roza, mariam tomb and Jodha bai ki chhatri already mentioned by me. There is also magnificent temple of Radha Swami sect in Dayal Bagh Agra

In fact, there are innumerable monuments and places at Agra. It is not possible to include all these in tourist spots for obvious reasons.

If I remember right I saw this place Mariyam ka makbara once while on the way to Mathura but this did not look as clean and well kept as shown in pohoto. I had been to most places in Agra during my different visits apart Jodha ki chatri.

Sundrban is famous all over India. Please tell about such places that re not so famous that others may also know. To elucidate, it is no use mentioning Victoria Memorial or Taj Mahal as these are very famous.

There is another not so well know place in Pune called Shindechi Chhatri, a memorial to Mahadji Shinde, one of the bravest lieutenants of the Peshwa dynasty.

Ram, I expect you to strictly comply with the topic, please read carefully before you post further replies, the discussion is exclusively about man-made wonders that are NOT so famous. Stick to the topic please!
