I read an article about her. Her name is Antisa Khvichava and she is from Georgia. The most interesting message in that article i found is she credited her longevity and healthfulness to drinking a bit of brandy every day. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

bit of brandy is for longevity of life. Do not swim with brandy.   :P

Hi Mary, That's why i highlighted the word "bit". Actually that may be one of the reason, but also there are some other reasons like taking healthy foods, diet habits (yoga, daily exercise, walking), etc.., has to be credited for longevity and healthyfulness.

Meditation also useful for longevity of life. Vethathiri maharishi who taught kundalini yoga lived for 96 years.

The best thing is not to count your years. Be mentally and physically active without bothering about age.

LOL, thats funny ! I read another news item somewhere about this where the person who is very old living in either Yugoslavia or Zacoslovakia said the same thing that she or he had a shot or two of vodka every day without fail...

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

132 years old is truely a long life. Hats off to her children and grand children who has very well taken care of her.
132 years is really long its tough for someone to cross over 90 years these days. It all depends on how and what we eat and how much physical work we do to keep our body fit.

Her children would not have lived so long. She would have only great grand children with her at time of her death.

How long can one live? There is no maximum age. But a woman who lived 132 years is said to have lived longest. Possibly, some one may one day break her record.

Living for 100 years is a very rare case nowadays. A lot of people are dying at the age of 50.

That's why it has become a news.
It is a great record to maintain in the History.
