Not elephant bones..elephant tusks....hihi
Sunil, when this proverb was developed, value of money was very high. Due to inflation, that 1 lakh has now become 60-70 lakhs.
That day, kalyani has agreed to start a circus company and we people shall assist her. What do you say?
I am ready to offer my services if the circus is in need of jokers. But would they take a joker 183 cm tall, I think mostly dwarf fit the role.

Yes, elephant festivals are a part of kerala temple...particularly Thrissur district, known as poorams.
But today when I read newspaper, I was very much surprised to see a news.....
It's elephant pooram of a christian church.....everything the same..... :silly:
I think more than 30 elephants
I will attach its photo very soon...wait for me
I had a penchant for drawing elephants in different moods and postures. This has drawn me towards all elephant related festivals

Fantastic photos Sandhyaji.
In elephant festivals, elephants are auctioned or sold for fixed prices.

Karnataka and Kerala have almost the same elephant population at 6000+..Elephants play a major role in Dusserah festival in Karnataka especially in Mysore where the festival is held on a very grand scale and thee is an elephant procession on the last day Vijaya Dashami..
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
