Just imagine the trauma they undergo while that is done, there was an incident when a child slipped out of the saree that is held below and got hurt, but even after that the tradition goes on...

Yes that is an old tradition there, that makes them feel hat this practice would be good for their kids but that is a risky job.


Police say hat they cannot stop this practice, because no mishap was reported and no one objected to the ritual

Poor kids.. Well, if they belief such superstitions then they can keep on personally, but why to involve kids who even don't know about all.

This is one of the useless rituals practiced in India. I hope steps are taken to stop it before more kids get hurt. :(

No one was injured. No one complained to the police. Hence there is no way to stop this practice
