For Indians Paypal send it to bank account free of cost that is the payment for certain services. If you have not selected the right reason for transfer of money it becomes commercial transaction and can attract 1.5% deduction in case of bank transfer. In case of payments through e-Cheque the deduction may go up. But main consideration is head of transfer under the transaction was made.

I think you should do is to contact admin of chitika to resolve this as Paypal never deducts money. :blink:

So I think they had made your transaction as Commercial so they may deduct your money for this one.

Commercial transaction attract higher deduction than this depending on amount involved.
