    I love all her songs since her voice overtakes any flaw that might be there in the lyrics or tune...
    But some of her songs are simply mind blowing like ..
    Tum na jane kis jahan mein kho gaye
    Yeh sham ki tanhayiyan
    Chand maddham hai aasman chup hai
    Tandi hawayen leherake aaye
    Raat bhi hai kuch bheegi bheegi
    Pyar kiya toh darna kya
    Pyar ki yeh talkhiyan
    Tera mera pyar amar...
    One can go on and on...


    Its a never ending list. That's why I never dare to enlist her BEST songs.


    However every good thing comes to an end, her songs would remain evergreen in our memories but she has stopped singing because she knows the fact, she can sing no more with her basic ease.

    Yes she is queen of melody and since many decades she has been singing and entertaining us. Her voice quality is incomparable. No singer has ever been so consistent is his/her work. like she has been since she started singing :)

    True, her voice has lost the old charm now as we see from some of the newer songs she sang like in Kabhi khushi kabhi gham....I am glad she has stopped singing because she has contributed the best she can and will be remembered for ever for her melodious contributions...

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
