Ingrediants:

Chopped coconut - 200g

Kova - 200g

Elachi powder - 1 tea spoon

Ghee - 1 tea spoon

Sugar - 3 cups

Water - 2 cups

Chopped Badam - 1/2 tea spoon

Chopped Pistha - 1/2 tea spoon

Milk - 1 1/2cup

Saffron - little.

Preparation time - 15 minites

cooking time - 30 minutes

Process -

Take a wide bowl.

Place it on stove.

Add 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water.

Let it boil for some time.

Now off the flame, when the sugar  syrup forms.

Now take pan , add finely chopped pistha and badam.

then fry them until they got fried.

Now add finely chopped coconut and fry them for 5 minutes.

Then add ghee and now finely mix all the items we have added.

Now add kova in it, then mix them finely and reduce the flame.

Then mix milk in it.

Now add elachi powder and saffron .

Mix them finely.

Then add sugar syrup in it and stir it until it wont stick to the pan.

After it got cook finely , add badam, pistha  also.

Now take a plate. apply ghee to it.

As the mixture is completely cooked.

Drop the mixture on the plate which is with ghee.

Now wait until the mixture on the plate get cooled.

We applied ghee to the plate so that while cutting the mixture into pieces they get cut properly and wont stick to the plate.

After it got cooked.

Freeze it by placing the plate in refrizerator.

After some time.

Take out the plate and cut the mixture into small burphi's.

There fore Coconut Burphi is ready.

Take them into the serving bowl and enjoy the taste.

the coconut Burphi is a sweetish dish. Every where over India people prepare this. There is no specific location for this. The recipe is very easy and interesting process.
