This in turn leads to re election, which will consume a major chunk of the taxpayer's money This is very unlikely that every one will reject all candidates. We have party system and can reasonably expect that the candidates will get votes of at least party members and firm party supporters. The candidate getting more votes will be elected. The NOTA is not considered. A candidate will be elected even if NOTA gets more votes than others.

If the Seats or berths are available, converting the waiting tickets in to a next available class is what I suggest. This will not cause any loss to the user or the Railways.

This is what we all read in newspapers but what do you suggest. WE should suggest what should be reasonable for both government and genuine passengers at the same time.

Opportunists will be there everywhere waiting for an opportunity to make hay while the Sun shines. What better opportunity could be there than such a time of crisis like Chennai deluge ?

The Indian Railways, has revised many rules. Railways say, these revised rules are meant for discourage Touts and Ticketing agencies who engage in black marketing tickets. Some of the newly introduced rules are Cancellation fee of a second class confirmed ticket 48 hours before the scheduled departure has been increased to Rs. 60 from Rs. 30. Similarly a third AC will cost Rs. 180 as against earlier cost of Rs. 90. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu says, the reason for revising the rules is due to a decline in Diesel. a major source of fuel for the Railways

I agree with your suggestion, if they cannot confirm your waiting listed ticket they should treat it as general ticket and refund the reservation charges on destination station without any deduction or say 10/ per ticket.

I never had any doubt about it after my teens as my grand mother knew it well and taught us the importance of dietary habits. She always use to tell us "eat one chapati lesser than you actually need" that will keep  your body and mind fit. I think my 73 Kg for my 73 inch height are proof enough of her wisdom.

The countries of this world are engaged in a rat race that will end with end of this world. Everyone is talking big but there seems to be no real solution of this problem.

No doubt many environmentalists and scientists are making the general public aware of the threat we are facing through global warming. But when you actually go deep into the issue it is pretty scary and fast approaching ...Unless we all pool in , we may see cities being swallowed up one by one as the ice melts from the poles.. https://www.facebook.com/HuffPostAustralia/videos/1716982431856216/?fref=nf

According to some the more you read and think about losing weight the more confusing it gets and complicated it seems, so , anything you have in mind, go straight out and do it ! Losing and maintaining weight is not all that difficult if one plans it and executes the plan meticulously .. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/health-fitness/weight-loss/The-right-way-to-plan-your-weight-loss/articleshow/50039068.cms?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=TOI

Delhi high court said aptly that living in Delhi is like living in a gas chamber.. According to the statistics Delhi is the most polluted city in the world. Delhi is 5 times more polluted than Beijing. In such conditions, the decision of Delhi high court comes like a whiff of fresh air.

No matter what provisions are made when you have demand and not enough supply, there will be inconvenience ! That's what is happening in India, there is over booking everywhere on buses, trains and even airlines these days. Indian Railway system is the largest in the world and whatever we may say, it is quite well managed ..

There is rule of compulsory voting in some countries with penalty imposed on non-voters but in India we cannot expect that as citizens have their own problems to solve before reaching to a polling booth. Some are hungry so they have make arrangements for their family gets a meal. Some others are scared while some are out for a job a business. First, provide them good living conditions before asking for their vote. What if everyone went and opted for NOTA as their choice?

The proper way is to send mail to admin and not starting thread for something for which members have no answers. Next time I will not close/lock the thread but delete it @Babu Bhui ali saroj.

The positive role of RSS in calamities is well known and appreciated. However their role in trying to enforce their agenda howsoever noble it may be by arm twisting BJP is not appreciated by many,. If they want their agenda to be implemented then they should fight the elections and get the mandate of the people. In BJP's victor=y they assume that they have the mandate is not proper. That they propagate Hindu values is not objectionable but using BJP to do so officially is where problem arises.
