It goes without saying. It is with differences alone the truth emerges out. Provided they are taken as mere opinions and the member's point of view. One should not expect all will agree with your point of view.

In a bid to curb rising pollution levels in Delhi. These radical steps which include restrictions on  plying of vehicles, shutting down of power plants, vacuum cleaning of Roads etc were taken. I hail this decision.

Having promised the moon Kejriwal now keeps finding alibi to cover up its failures. Number of vehicles can also be curtalied by not registering new vehicles for one year, will it be taken, Never for obvious reasons.

If this plan fails then Delhi government will say that police is not doing its work and Delhi police is under center. I think there will be conflicts between Delhi police and Delhi government. Is the RTO not under Delhi government? Is so, there need be no issue. Traffic police would follow directions of RTO.

The BJP indeed has a absolute majority in the Lok Sabha and with allies has more than 300 seats. The opposition's views also have to be taken into consideration by the ruling party and now BJP has started doing it. Congress has not lost power for the first time. It is BJP which is taking time to change itself from its earlier status as India's Permanent Opposition Party to that of a ruling party. They still treat Congress as a ruling party but have now started accepting it as an opposition party. repeated Congress bashing is going to stall Parliament, that is how they can give back. It takes two to shake hands.

Compulsory voting is undemocratic. Many may not like to vote for any available candidate. That is why NOTA has been introduced. People should be encouraged to vote but this should be by persuasion rather than compulsion. If I am compelled to vote against my will, most probably, I shall vote NOTA, which serves no purpose.

I think now the user got clarified. This thread is of no use now. Not only this, all previous threads like this should be locked.

Passing the Buck and mudslinging is natural in such conditions. But the truth is Corporation of Chennai failed to implement certain projects which facilitate River water flowing directly in to the sea. The Corporation authorities also failed to stop unauthorized occupations and encroachments.

The Delhi government has taken a very welcome step. There is need to reduce vehicles on the road. This can be best done by curtailing personal vehicles and promoting and improving public transport. Not only transport, it will be best use of limited natural resources to promote public assets like libraries, e- libraries, civic facilities, parks etc.

Who is bothered if ponds have vanished and natural water ways are built upon. Gathering votes for Amma is the sole purpose of the officials and ministers even in times of calamities. For politicians their vote is more important than any thing in the world. So they try to get benefit of any situation.

Some people will buy more vehicles, one for odd number plate and other for even number plate. And those who cannot afford two vehicles will start using fake number plate.
