Yes its not good but after this incident other bikers will take care.

They will never do that, this is a regular feature of bikers in this region. They are known as stunt bikers gang who do it after midnight on the best roads in Delhi like Connaught place, India gate etc. They risk their own and others lives in the process and never listen to any advices.

I agree. They never listen. There is sort of madness and thrill in stunt biking. Four years back, there were many stunt bikers in Agra. One of them died on spot during speed biking. He was known to me and I remember many insisted on him day and night to give up this fatal exercise but no use. Mainly fault lies with parents who allow them use of bikes even knowing their nature and habit. Better place for them would be in sports colleges.

You know, I am closer to Delhi almost 60+ Km which is as much part of Delhi and its culture. Boys in between 15 to 25 try the same stunts on posh areas of my city including Mall Road. Army has taken very strict action to keep them off from roads under their control. The funniest part is almost 50% of them have no driving licences.

May be funniest part in Delhi. In Vizag almost all the teenage bikers are without license. But there is a difference. These will not dare to do stunts on the roads. Police here is very strict.
Yes I too heard this in afternoon Headlines News. Very sad that such incidents are happening in India. Heard that Cops warned the bikers but they refused to stop stunts. Then Cops shot bike tyres to stop it but how come aiming the bike tyres killed a person !

How come the brats are doing stunts on a public road endangering lives of the people ? What police have done is right

This is not fair. If the bike racers did not obey the police, they should be arrested and then punishment has to be given. You cannot take human life for granted.

The pillion rider was killed in the process. Aim can not be always accurate when target is moving.

yes I do agree, but there must be a huge gap between the tyre and the person who is riding and policemen can't actually deviate this much.
That too the person could have been shot in his leg at the worst case.
I think what the police have done is inhuman, laws are made for protecting people, nt just the VIPs....It is only when something happens to our own children, do we feel the intensity of the grief that the mother is experiencing ! A young teenage boy and what threat did he pose to them that they should shoot him down?

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Nothing new, this has become a regular feature in Delhi and almost all over NCR region. The spoiled sons of big guns with their costly bikes play havoc on streets in night hours. Some of them even do not hesitate doing same in busy day hours. When something goes wrong their parents blame police for not keeping a watch, while they themselves are responsible for unruly behavior of their wards.

Parents have not time for their child but they have enough money for them. Students below 18 year driving bikes. They are all from high profile families. Law and order is not their problem.

Between heavy traffic is more risky for both stunt drivers and commuters but the real stunt drivers do it after midnight risking their own life doing real stunts copying from movies and TV.

New Delhi traffic police after this incident, issued an advisory saying, stunt bikers will now be slapped with criminal charges as they endanger others' safety.

They may escape from punishment by law. But what about the likely fatal death of their own children. This will be punishment harsher than what law may administer. It is time the parents learn the lesson to their own benefit. Already many have lost their children. But others are blissfully careless.
