It is A Misconception That Indian Muslim Voters Vote on Community Lines!

The results of two states which have gone to elections and have a sizable presence of Muslims clearly indicate that they never fail to vote on considerations other than community and other things related to it. Chauhan's good work in MP has been amply rewarded by them. Similarly BJP's success in Rajasthan is very decisive.

    No, it can't be true. If they were doing so, they could have formed their governments in many states where they are in majority. They have not yet reached to that stage but the day is not far off.

Chauhan's good work in MP has been amply rewarded by them. Similarly BJP's success in Rajasthan is very decisive.


    I too feel that they are not driven by such sentiments when it comes to voting.They vote those who have helped them all round and also are able to see through those psuedo secular parties..

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

    It's a misconception. Irrespective of the religions people including Muslims voted to the government that performed.

    I thought that until now it was the congress who got those Muslim votes in majority, but the current results proved otherwise. Or probably they have awoken to the truth that congress just wants to lead them in the name of pseudo-secularism! :blink:

    it is a misconception. Gujarat, Muslims voted for BJP, here it seems that in MP and Rajastan, tow thirds of majority seemingly suggest that Muslims do not vote in a go, they voted as common voters as in Delhi two of Muslim majority constituency won by BJP for the first time, Indian politics is going in a smarter way.

    The Muslims do not vote for making their own government but they vote against parties that may be opposed to them. Hence they vote for any party that may defeat BJP. Possibly if they feel that BJP is not so dangerous they may vote for this party also.

    BJP is not more dangerous than parties wearing mask of sheep but they are not promising a moon to Muslims. BJP only promises everyone the equal treatment. And i said the same, Muslims are not trying to form their own government but are grossly mislead.
