It is 5 month old thread. Wearing sleeveless blouses is depends upon the women. We cannot object but if it is not attracted by abuse persons then it is good for the women and their safety.

There is some sort of dress code everywhere. We all need to abide by the dress considered decent in the region. There is a proverb- while in Rome do as Romans do.  There is a Punjabi proverb- Eat as you like but dress as others like.  It is best to dress as most do in the region. This will ensure that there is no undue attention by others.

Yes it's 5 months old but the site is in testing stage therefore we shall let it go. Dresses are worn as per the needs and fashion of the area. Even if people in a particular area wish to adapt other dresses they think twice before wearing them.

Yes, of late, even in Chennai, people have started wearing sleeveless blouses with sarees.  I was surprised to find a good number of them wearing it in a recent Brahmin wedding reception, in Chennai.  In the course of time, all taboos will go.  Let us all appreciate that the individual also has a greater choice and a heart of her own.  So, fashion should be voluntary and what is most convenient for them at any point in time, should be actively encouraged.

That is personal choice of a person so I would prefer to leave to person concerned. However I have no problems whatsoever whatever they want to wear.
