    Moderator should be fee of pre-determined judgement and never biased. Once they have some one in mind they would never be able to justify also they should know the rules and interpret them well.

    I feel that if a moderator feels that he cannot do justice to his job, he should request for withdrawal from moderator job instead of waiting for admin to remove him.

    The reputation and quality of the site is determined by the way a moderator functions.Any bias or partiality on their side is bound to make members insecure . In my experience the stricter the the rules followed by all concerned, including the members , it is better for the site ! Eventually everyone benefits ..

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

    Also we should assure 1000 times ourselves that we never create headache to moderators and help them performing their tasks efficiently. Isn't it?
    If we stop spamming our site, then we are making our moderators' job more easy. :)
