    Tulsi is offered to a number of gods, including 'hanuman'. This is in vaishna tradition. Tulsi is also considered as an incarnation of Laxmi.

    Tulasi is a very sacred plant, also it's good to plant in front of our homes.

    Krishna and Shiva loves them the most. Actually it is used for worship and treated as the symbol of purity from ancient times itself. May be linked with puranas, since it has medicinal value too.

    But we should not offer tulasi leaves to Lord Ganesh. We can only offer tulasi leave to Ganesh on Ganesh chathurdi.
