Probably there is no one who has been duped at least once in a life time. But can the whole world can be duped? This may seem impossible. But in the matter of Indian and world history the world can be duped in many respects for hundreds of years and still continues to be duped. The world famous Tajmahal is a glaring instance.

The true story of Tajmahal. It is not my intention to raise a controversy. It is an effort to reveal  some historical facts to make the thread intresting

P.N. Oak is a communal RSS minded historian. His so called research is not shared by most historians. Based on Oak's observations, the Baj rang Dal activists (RSS outfiit) are creating nuisance. They observe AArati near Taj Mahal time to time claiming that the building is so called Tejo Mahal. But the police say that Yamanu bank is very large and these miscreants simply publidh photos for publicity sake, We need not give any heed to Oak's  meaningless stuff.

Yes. We need not give any importance to such controversial matters. But my aim of this post is to know certain facts, historical or not which are making rounds now.

Even if the site was a temple a few hundred years ago, one cannot hold on to that now since a lot of changes have taken place in those years. It is wiser to move forward rather than look back and rake up issues that has no positive outcome ..

True...there is no point in holding on to that now, but there is no harm in telling the correct and true version of history than a falsified version. That is all, tell the truth as it is!

I agree with those views Kalyani...I present another article written by Mr Oak who is not from RSS but one who was a proud Hindu, nothing wrong in that.. He gives his reasons for calling Tajmahal a hindu temple..

In fact, the contents of my post are the observations of Mr. Oak, But Oak has been dismissed as a RSS supporter. But whatever it may be History remains as History come whatever.

Anybody who shows patriotism and affinity towards Hindutva is dubbed a RSS man these days,...this is how Congress has portrayed nationalism, you either show your disdain for majority Hindus or else you become a RSS stooge..

How long these pseudo patriots can snub the History ? They may deliver sermons about patriotism. But they cannot erase History.

History is what you read in school and not that by P.K. Oak.  Taj Mahal is no so ancient. There is no basis for the belief that Taj Mahal was not bilit by Emperor Shahjehan in memory of empress Mumtalmahal.
