    ha, invariably i thought questions related to coconut must surely be asked by Sandhya

    Is it that you are a huge fan of coconut?????????


    You are a keralite by birth....so let me ask you a simple question......
    Let me see if you answer it...
    What's the meaning of Kerala/Keralam?
    Tell me

    One is with m and one is without m-simple.


    In South Indian languages including Malayalam, it's written as Keralam not Kerala...
    Actually all South Indian languages have a 'm' or 'n' in extra for most common words...particularly malayala'm' :P :P :P :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    North Indians write Ram and Krishna while South Indians write Raman, Krishnan in extra.....
    Saral...means soft in North India while we write it as 'Saralam'.
    Hoping you understand it.
    Keralam is the correct word, not kerala

    Actually, coconut grow on coconut tree.So,it is obvious that Coconut tree came first and then Coconut.
