Marriage or matrimony is a social or legal contact between two families that create relationship.According to different cultures of society the defination of marriage is changing,but in the real sense if we are talking then it consists of traditional relationship that usually based on thinking of two person.This custom is also called a wedding ceremony.Wedding consists of marriage between two two person of opposite sex.In some culture marriage is fixed when child are very small.They have no idea about marriage.Marriage make the two family as one.Marriage is one of the beautiful gift of God given to human beings.Because every person wants partener to spend his/her whole life and marriage is the best way to get that partener.

There are two type of marriage found in our society are:-

i) Love Marriage.

ii) Arranged marriage.

First of all there is a custom of arranged marriage in which parents fix the girl for boy or boy for girl and after that marriage takes place.But now a day defination of arranged marriage is also changed.Now arranged marriage are mostly done in Asia.This type of marriage is carried forward from ancient period.In the modern world many thing has been changed and today in arranged marriage boy and girl talk to each other ,understand each other then only marriage takes place which is not happen previously.But there are some places in Asia where marriage is still fixed by parents and no one interfare in that matter so that’s why parents are called the gatekeepers of society.

Arranged Marriage

There are several pros and cons of arrange marriage.But before discussing about its benefit and drawback it is necessary to describe, what is arranged marriage? Arrange marriage are nothing just it is a decision of someone else except than two(boy or girl).This type of marriage is also called premarriage.This someone include parents,family members,priest etc.Sometime matrimonial sites also arrange for marriage but in that case there is some chance for boys or girl to know each other.

Positive impact of arrange marriage.

• In arrange marriage the first and the most powerful reason is that there is full support of parents from both sides.
• This type of marriage is done under the guidance of guardian and elders of family so there is less hope of conflict in both the family as well as boy and girl.
• Lots of confidence are built in parents mind as well as in boy and girl mind.
• The most important and the necessary thing that is trust and it increases due to the support of families.
• If they are doing love marriage then they can’t concentrate on their studies their goal etc.In that point of view arrange marriage is better because boy and girl leave the decision of marriage on to parents and they only concentrate on their studies and what they have to achieve in life.
• The last and the most important reason is that the next generation got the secure atmosphere under the guidance of his /her grand parents.

Negative impact of Arrange Marriage

As we see the positive impact of arrange marriage we always keep in mind that every thing has some positive and some negative impact.So we must aware of the drawbacks of arrange type of marriage.

• The first and the most important drawback is decision means the the most important decision of person’s life is takem by someone else.
• There is no contact between boy and girl and a result they are not able to understand each other feelings,commitment etc.No any kind of understanding relationship between boy and girl.Even they don’t know about their hobby,feeling,what he/she like.In other words you can say that they are unfamiliar to each other.
• The upper reason lead to collide in family and sometime it goes to divorce.May be the trust shown by family members will less day by day.Then relationship become stronger day by day and as a result divorce takes place.
• A small mistake of girl creates big issue and lots of tension increase between family members and this may cause the unwanted thing like divorce.
• This arrange marriage created the most critical issue for our society is dowry.If some money is shorted in marriage then they says thet marriage is not going to take place and this kind of activity spoils the life of girl.
• This arrange marriage became the biggest obstacle in getting an independent life.For every decision they have to be depend on their parents.If they yes then its ok otherwise boy and girs have to be agree with their parents.
• Parents involve in personal activity of boys and girls.
• This arrange marriage become the medium of spreading caste system and dowry sytem to society.
• If we are talking about society then arrange marriage stops the growth of our society.

As we know that every thing has some positive and negative impact.If you are deciding to do arrange marriage then you have to keep som decision of yours and the negative impacts,you try to ignore them as much as possible.You have to become responsible about your marriage.I am not telling that disrespect your parents but you have to keep the decision of marriage in your hand don’t leave it on others.It’s your life and you have right to do this.After seeing the girl/boy communicate with your parents that he/she is better for you or not.If both of you have same thinking then its o.k.Now days the most convenient and the safest way of searching your life partener is matrimonial site.If you find your choice in that site then you have some time to judge your partner.And this way you reduce the evil of society that is dowry.

Love marriage

If we are talking about love marriage then it is a combination of two individual on the basis of affection,mutual understanding and commitment. Love marriage is famous depending on the different cultures.

In love marriage the boy and the girl choose their life partner according to their choice.No one force in this matter.However it become the main part of the marriage and youngesters are free to do love marriage.It saves you to get marry from someone whom you don’t know.If you choose your partner right then it is a matter of pride and if you choose your partner wrong then you can’t put blame on your guardian.It completely based on the readiness of two lovers to choose each them as husband and wife.If you done true love and spend time with your love then whole life trust is built in between the husband and wife.

Negative impact of love marriage

• There will be collision between you and family if they want to do arrange marriage of you.If the girl belong to other caste then it become a big issue and lead to create bitterness in relationship.If marriage take place any how then the relationship between two family are not so strong as in arrange marriage .May be the next generation miss the love of grand parent’s.
• If you decide to marry to whom you love then sometime the situation create in which you have to choose one between Your parents and your love.If you choose your love then you have to leave your parents and if you choose your parents then you have to leave your love.
• As we know that more closeness in relationship lead to collision in relation and finally it lead to divorce .
• If you only love some one you can’t know everything about your partner.May be he/she is good when you are far away from each other and if they started living each other then you are aware of the habits of your partner and what he/she likes.May be what he/ she likes you not like the same then it lead to create problem in marriage life.
• In love marriage you are not free to do any thing.In other word you loose your independence and freelance of your life.
• If you do Love marriage then you have to spend lots of time with your life partner and leave you best friends otherwise she feel that you are doing any wrong activity.

Positive impact of love marriage

• In love marriage you take the most important decision of your life by your self.No one interfare in that matter.In other words you can say that what is right for your life you can choose it by yourself.
• Love marriage is important because you devotee your whole life to that partner who understand you well ,love you so much and always take care of you and in any need he/she always be there.
• If you do love marriage then you can share your day to day feeling with your partner which is not going to happen in arrange marriage because in it you need some time for understanding each other.
• You can easily save money by doing some small sacrifices which you and your love understand well.
• Iif you do love marriage then there will be less or no chance of divorce.In other words you can say that love marriage means long term relationship.
• The most important fact of love marriage is that you spent your valuable time with that person you love most in your life.And in thios way sharing become more precious.
• The most important and necessary fact about love marriage is that it remove the most big evil of our indian society is dowry system. Due to dowry system many girls have to loose their life in sake of some money only.Though love marriage it reduced to some extent and likely to me more reduced in coming future.Knowing someone before marriage provide lots of relief and respect for their partners.If we can’t someone and get married they we need extra time to understand each other and this cause collision in marriage system.But not all the sometime it lead to happier journey if marriage.In arrange marriage girls get comfortable and safer life .

And lastly I want to tell that whether your marriage is arrange marriage or love marriage it depends on you how you run your life.It only dependon you to prove your marriage a big success or a massive failure.
