What is happen in UP is an evil. All are having a share in this sinister act. It's not the question of answering who is responsible or not. It's the question of finding an answer for the atrocities perpetrated on Dalits.

Girls are never burden of the parents. Parents love and like daughter like sun. But at present safety and security of daughter is problem. Only father of daughter can understand it. Beside parents wants that daughter should capable of facing any harshment in life. They prefer to educate them well. I have two daughters. One is doing internship after completing LL.B. Another is doing B.Ed.

I believe that simplicity just meas that you remain usual self and do not do anything that invites othes' intention. Glamourous life style attracts peoples' intention and thus this is not simple. But if you een make a show of simplicity, you are not simple. To elicidate, Kejriwal andothers attempted to show their simplicty by travelling in metro rail and other gimmicks. This is not simplicity. simplicity means that you live in a manner others placed in your position would do. By this yardstick, Gandhi was not so simple. He ate simple food including goat milk. It is widely believed that the goat ate dry fruits so that the milk is very rich.   Simplicity as a show is not simplicity. Those who practice simplicity as a way of life only for themselves , Not with an intention whether somebody is observing are  are real practitioners of Simplicity.

Education is a must and obviously with it the girls will have the guts to take up a decision regarding every ifs and buts of life. Financial independence is also necessary but I feel sometimes it can take a back seat while fixing marriage but no compromises regarding education. This will help the most when a girl wants to be self dependent. Well, I have a bit different opinion regarding the knowledge of legal rights. It is important but don't you all think that many women are misusing this legal right by lodging fake domestic violence cases. Actually, in our country this legal right is biased towards women which is being violated a lot and many families are getting destroyed because of false cases. Thus, I feel the legal rights after marriage should be balanced and transparent for both the sides and must not have an option to be misused which should be clearly defined to both the parties before the marriage itself.

One should be eat one half their meal as raw food.  All Mahatma Gandhi's beliefs and practices are as simple as Mahatma. They are not only simple but inexpensive too/

If I recall correctly Sarojini Naidu had said that Gandhiji travels in second or third class in rail but it costs government a fortune to take his care. But it is hte spirit he was showing with his fellow citizens that is important.

You said " sometimes I feel like somehow I must contact them and clear the doubt and then finally. " this is the aspect wrecking you. I think the friend in question I'm sure, he's aware of your weakness. In my view he's certainly waiting for an opportune time. Then why don't  you do the same and test his patience ? All in all i agree with all those members who suggested you to wait. There is no option left for you.

@usha manohar, @chinmoymukherjee @vijay @sarala Read your views and you know at one point of time my mind says I must ignore, sometimes I feel like somehow I must contact them and clear the doubt and then finally I feel that I have no doubt, my intention was never wrong and I tried my best to contact them then why I should go through a phase of hurt. I know I did nothing wrong so let it be just as it is. The onus is upon them because no relationship can continue single handedly. When they don't want to maintain friendship then be it like that. I can forgive and move on because I can accept that they are no more interested in continuing the relationship but I can never forget because once I forget then I will mix with them once again if by chance I get to contact them and leave a door open to hurt me once more. By the way, maybe because of server error this thread has got many duplicate replies, so, what am I to do? Can I edit the duplicate comments? Kindly confirm.

True. I read about Sarojini Naidu's comment. When Gandhiji was frequently running to Bhangi colonies, this comment was made. Of course later it was known that these Bhangi colonies were artificially created.
