@usha manohar I am not saying that women are not subjected to domestic violence. That percentage is high but that does not mean, men and their families are not getting ruined by such false cases. That percentage is less but growing day by day. They only can understand who have seen their loved ones getting falsely implicated and leading them to a shattered life. In the urban educated society it is becoming a routine problem and if we say that women are not selfish at all then it will be hilarious. I agree illiterate and poor women are the huge sufferers of domestic violence but in urban society women are misusing it with the help of their biological family. I have witnessed many such case. The men avoid to speak about domestic violence that does not mean some of them are not victims. As @rambabu said about the new law, that is very true or else earlier the boy's family were not even given a chance to present their side of the story. Thus, they land up into jail, loss of job, honour shattered, death of the aged people due to shock and what not. Both the parties are sufferer maybe males are less in number but if its not controlled then one day every young men would be behind the bars and the world is controlled by fake women.

It happened in my family. My son's wife tried to use Domestic violence as a means to grab my property. Luckily the law has been amended by then. No arrests were made. The trial started. But during the trial she met with an accident and died.

Generally a house wife will have lot of concern about her hubby;'s health. In this process, she always forces her hubby to have some more food. If one yields to his wife's caring despite hubby's actual need of the hunger. it leads to lot of leftover in the patter. This is what I meant by saying Coaxing.

@ rambabu In this respect I should appreciate my wife who will not allow me to get up from my dining table until I eat away the last grain.
@ rambabu As far as I'm concerned, I set aside my wife's coaxing to have one more serving and i keep that much of food on my platter which is enough to feed my hunger.

I was just wondering if the admin will look at the following points-
1- Weekly leader feature should go on but no member gets the top slot more than one time in a month (even if they remain on top as the points still count for shares).
2- Limiting the number of forum posts in a particular thread.
3- Limiting number of threads started by a particular member in a day
4- Besides starting a few writing contests asap after all that is the star attraction of this site
What are your opinion guys? What do you say about number of posts in a thread to keep it interesting? I suggest 5-6 maximum as that is sufficient for giving your point of view on a particular topic. Rest is nothing but dragging the thread. There could be exceptions of course.
Note- If the admin participates in this thread he gets no reward so nothing to worry

It is necessary to be able to say " Stop" in marriage party lunches or in a place other than your home. Many times we see people feel shy to say No, in parties or lunches held outside your home. As far as I'm concerned, I set aside my wife's coaxing to have one more serving and i keep that much of food on my platter which is enough to feed my hunger.

I agree, the sound sleep of 6-7 hours is must otherwise people tend to forget what they said 10 minutes earlier and start repeating their thoughts expressed couple of minutes before... in exactly same words. The quality sleep is must for keeping one fit mentally and physically.

From what I have seen many women do not get the justice they are supposed to get in domestic violence cases, because the judges , may not be all, but generally tend to view women who have had the GUTS to complain against their husband as being a different kind of species altogether, a wanton woman, a home breaker etc ...I have been a witness to a couple such a case in my town and the judge gave such a seething attack on one of the poor woman who was genuinely in distress because of domestic violence and illicit relationship .Today she has been kicked out of her house and has no money because now the husband is free to carry on with another woman after the judgment and she also has the child to care for ! Believe me all those so called reforms are mostly in words , on the paper and the reality is far from it ...It is still very much a mans world out here . If any justice has been got inspite of such an attitude we must laud such a judgment!

Instead of someone making sure we eat and dont waste any food we need to train ourselves and our children to take small helpings and take a second helping if wanted rather than pile up the plate which is what I see many people do. In fact in most wedding sit down lunches they serve such a large amount of rice and I always make sure to tell them beforehand not to serve more and waste food ..

Of course sleep is every essential for us to function well during the day, more so sound sleep for at least 6-7 hours at night , or else you get disoriented and tend to be grouchy the whole day..
