I think accepting our fault will be harmful for shorttime but it will beneficial for longtime.

It is always beneficial to recognize one's fault for future improvement. It is, however, not necessary to disclose this realization to others. Gen Kaul wrote that when V.K. Krishna Menon, then Defence Minister felt that he had misbehaved with some body or had not been courteous enough, he would not openly accept this but would please the aggrieved person by sending him gift later.

Accepting or not accepting our faults depends up on the situation. If we accept our faults in front of our friends who always tease you then they will tease you more so at this situation it is harmful. if you accept your faults at the friends we understand and helps you, at this situation it is benificail

faults must be accepted if done otherwise it creates self defense .So better to accept and keep the mind calm.

It needs courage to own guilt publicly. This is also not so necessary. There is rule in Christianity of confessing in church. It is enough if you yourself understand your mistake and resolve to not repeat this. It is not necessary to announce this to others.

gulshan ji, you are absolutely correct. feeling our own fault and make sure it will not happen in future will help the person very well.

Yes its true if we able to improve ourself after learning from mistake then no need to give publicity for our fault.
