Pakistan has no other option because they know only one way to make her public happy - Hate India.

But common people like us who really make up the population of that country do not hate Indians, all this Indo-Pak conflicts that we are seeing for so many decades happens to benefit select few in the power, political as well as military and for their personal gains want to keep this conflict alive. Therefore they catch hold of poor young boys like Kasab and brain wash them into thinking how bad and cruel India is for their religion and country. But majority of Pakistanis do not want such enmity. Many Indians who have had the opportunity to visit the interiors of Pakistan and interact with common people swear by the respect and admiration those people have for Indians!

In fact, religion is the villain for every trouble. Pakistan was created on basis of religion and the conflicts also arise mainly from religious hatred.

But who fuels these religious conflicts? Not me or you but the ones in power. During all the conflicts and riots that have happened in India, the fights were between these two communities who were living in segregated areas away from each other because they could easily be misled by politicians. But fights were never between the families of different communities who stayed close to each other, they stood by and helped each other and on occasions protected them from rioters of their own communities! This is what we need to understand! At a very basic level, no one wants such conflicts.

Of course, politicians benefit from religious conflicts. But these conflicts are already in peoples' mind. There is excessive explosive in shape of religious hatred in peoples' mind. Religion is to blame. Politicians merely ignite this explosive for their benefit.

I have mentioned before also, these conflicts are not already present in peoples' minds. The common people are more involved in thinking about earning their livelihood, secure future for their children etc. But in each community, there are a handful few with empty minds which serve well the selfish gains of politicians, these people can be fueled for such conflicts easily and once something happens, others are inevitably dragged into the midst of it all.

Now Pak P.M. has denied having made the remarks attributed to him. He clarified this before holding talk with Indian PM.

I beg to differ with you. It's not a fact that religious conflicts and hatred are already there in the people's mind. This side of Vindhya especially in my state Muslim festivals like Muharram and Bakrid are celebrated equally by Hindus and Muslims with fervor. And no politician will dare to create such differences. If he dares, he will invite the wrath of both the communities.
When a country born with a concept of religion then it is conflict with its own identities, in India and here in my state of Odisha, where there are examples some great Muslim poet like Sal beg who wrote wonderful devotional songs of Lord Jagannath, also Satya peer is worshipped equally by Hindus and Muslims, in my state, no politicians would dare to divide on the basis of religions, also if any political party goes on to support any religion or minorities in general it is bound to lose election as it is evident for the last ten years, the party in center not able to win elections.

And one good thing is, as I said earlier in this thread, Our PM in no uncertain terms imposed condition that there should be cessation of border violations as the condition to be fulfilled before the talks.

Is there anything wrong in Indian PM talking about terrorism from Pakistan with american President. Pakistan based terrorism is an international issue that needs attention of world community. But the Pakistan PM remarked that his Indian counterpart was behaving like a village woman. Modi has also commented on this saying that if the PM is not respected in own country, how others will respect him.

Modi has exaggerated and dramatized the events. Pak P. M. has denied the allegation of saying anything derogatory. Manmohan Singh has also not said anything wrong either to U.S. President or Pak P.M. Modi is behaving like bull in china shop.

Manmohan singh hardly speaks and one cannot expect him to say anything on this matter and Pak Pm's words are even more suspect...I saw in the news one of the pak envoy admitting that Nawaz sharief indeed said that Manmohan singh runs to Obama with all his troubles like a village woman..They are hushing it up now ! when that is the case what is wrong with Modi coming out openly with it ?Havent we had enough of hide and seek played by Congress ?

Nawaz Sharief forgot that he also run to Clinton, President of USA in 1999, to save his nose after defeat in Kargil war.

Politicians are blessed with a poor memory besides Pakistan's survival depends on statements like these.
