well..superstitions can even be helpful!..especially in curing certain diseases..for eg:- people tie some sacred thread in their hand to get cure from skin warts and miraculously many gets cured..reinforcing the belief..
Here the truth is..when you tie a band you starts believing that it wil cure the wart.Gradually this positive feeling in the mind can actually be converted to a physical phenomenon and it can bring changes to the body.
To be more specific...Skin and nerves develop from same source(same layer in embryo).So a positive mind can bring about a healthy skin!!

Actually our positive approach heels us more easily than our medicines. Such superstitions are good.
But many may harm us too. We should be able to identify between these two

Even my family is also not superstitious but still they believe on small myths which is OK and does not harm anyone. :)
Some of members will believe there is superstitious when some young one died means. I cannot believe them.

This is about cleanliness people believe Lakshi don't stay in the house where people don't keep them clean. :laugh:
Even the sink in the kitchen is not clean, i mean the utinsils which we have used should be washed imedaitely or else Lord lakshmi will go away itseems
