Salman Kurshid and Manmohan Singh show their incompetency yet again with regard to dealing with China. China is bent on making trouble for India in some form or the other. Now it is making its presence felt in the Indian Ocean like never before causing concern...

China is doing what he wants. Indeed India is not position to give them warning or threat. "Samarth Ko Naho Dosh Gosain"
Is China doing anything against international law? If they are indeed doing something against India deliberately, this may be cause for concern. However, even America is in Indian ocean. Have we any ground to object to presence of these countries in international waters?

In that case I would suggest to try and go into international waters anywhere around China or the US and see the result.

Indian ships also move in all oceans. Exact location and path is a strategic matter and need not be discussed here.

In that case the Zee news should not have put it that way which looks offensive to Indians. or the government should have clarified the matter so that public does not react furiously.

Our media is irresponsible. If government is too strict, there will be hue and cry on suppression of freedom of expression. Government need not react to every news. It is okay to ignore what these channels say for some time and ultimately they will lose their credibility.

It is not that India is not in a position, but India lacks the agressiveness that is needed to keep them off, like other countruies do, Even a Bangladesh is able to threaten us and Pakistan seems like a giant compared to us...all because of the attitude of our politicians and diplomats who seem like paper tigers !

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

It is fallacious to say that our leadership lacks courage or is timid. There are some elements in our countries like ther counterparts elsewhere, who always work for frenzy and bellicosity. It is okay to be prepared for defence but no use in using threatening language and creating war hysteria.

In fact there is no need to use either threat or create any hysteria, it can be done in more subtle ways by being firm when there is need to do so and not going out of the way to accommodate them at all times even when they dont ! Thats how Indian diplomats have ben dealing thereby sending out very weak signals which makes them think that we are easy targets !

No,India didn't fail in foreign diplomacy. Our Prime Minister and Government is going in a right path. They are thinking about the consequences of the threatening.War or threatening is not only solution for this,we have to try to solve the problem in other measures like strengthening our Border and Defence.

Right path???? The comments about our honoured PM w.r.t the China entering inside Indian border were that it was a 'local issue' , we have still not attempted to recover our lands lost to China, our inability to curb Pakistani attacks on our soldiers and citizens still go on unchecked! How can you say that our government is on the right track?? Maybe there is something we do not know of, that you could throw light on!

You mean leaving our own territory as per their condition is the RIGHT PATH, then we certainly need not choose a right path to keep us in contention of counted in countries who can defend their borders. They certainly are thinking of consequences which is not helping us keep our self-respect. We are a laughing stock even for small nations which survive only on donations.

'Local issue' means that the issue was being discussed at local level between army authorities of two countries. When the issues at local level are not sorted out, these come at highest level. However, there may be much that we do not know. In fact, the defence matters are secret and it is not desirable to reveal everything to the media or others.

How can a dispute about international border be a local issue and discussed at the local level? I agree there is much more that we may not know about but we cannot be so foolish as to assume such mild talks! Also, it only portrays the apathy on the part of government about critical issues. So contrary to some might believe, we are definitely not on the right track where foreign affairs and policy is concerned.
