Sometimes emergency arises such as a voter may suddenly fall very ill, may need to travel urgently or something else, in that case there should be at least an alternative arrangement. Exceptions cannot be ruled out but with an alternative arrangement there will be undoubtedly an increase in voting rate.

I believe that both the sides must respect each other's opinion and belief. There are many reasons such as when financial condition is weak, continuous encounter with disease in one's family, children going the wrong way make many believe in so called superstition. They try every method to face the challenges and even practice superstition and that's because in any way they try to improve their condition. It is convenient for the logical people who do not face hardships of any kind to talk about hard work but it's difficult for those who after repeated effort fail to overcome hardships of various kind. Thus, sometimes educated people too become superstitious because of facing continuous trouble.

It is true.. One has to ensure be it rational or irrational beliefs of others should be honored and respected. If one cannot accept the beliefs of others, at least one should not disrespect.

True.The number of voters are rising. Instead of encouraging, it helps a lot if the awareness in the voter is created by holding regular awareness programmes even in the non election periods.

Apathy itself indicates ignorance of the people who are at the helm of the affairs, especially when millions pf peoples' lives are at stake. It goes without saying that apathy contributes in a bigger way in environmental abuse.

The ruling party doesn't make excuses. instead it excuses the noise making political parties for their immature statements in the Parliament.

I have never considered RSS a communial organization. But the real villain are the Hindus themselves as they are like strands of hair, spread out and divisive. A large number of Hindus do not accept RSS as a nationalist organization, till that changes , I dont see how the RSS can rise up. One can see how the non BJP parties ganged up in Bihar and trounced the BJP. RSS tried hard but failed. RSS failed in Delhi as well and if the same scenario is repeated UP will also be lost.
The Hindus are their own enemy.
