When we are late we have to show any excuse ,it is better to speak the truth or not to be late. If it happens occasionally then no problem but habit of being late is not good.

Exactly habit of getting late is not good one should be punctual and should respect for time. I have seen lots of people who do excuses daily for many things which they can't do and think they have made other fool but they forget that they are making fools of themselves not others. :blink:

My excuse for arriving to office late (all of them worked)

1. I did not feel like coming to office but I came
2. I was reading the newspaper that I lost track of time
3. I forgot my ID Card so had to go back home to retrive it
4. I did not get a bus !!!!!!!!
5. I was enjoying my breakfast
6. I had an excellent dream about the future of the company so slept for sometime
