    Jobin- If offices are closed owing to bandh, it is obvious that employees working in those offices cannot use the office internet. I could also not use the net as there were obstructions caused by Bandh.
    The purpose of bandh is more to show strength of the participating parties and less to highlight people's problems. However, let us hope for the best.

    Madhya Pradesh saw a near total shutdown as protesters clashed with the police at several places and over 200 of them were arrested. The strike hit normal life in capital Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior cities.

    Life in Chhattisgarh and Kerala came to a virtual standstill as air, rail and road services were disrupted. The bandh evoked a lukewarm response in Tamil Nadu .

    Goa observed 100 per cent bandh as besides call for strike against spiralling prices of essential commodities and fuel hike, the private bus operators had also resorted for strike seeking hike in the ticket fare.

    Shops were closed in many parts of Himachal Pradesh and road and rail services affected. Road traffic was hit in many parts of the state. In Shimla, schools and educational institutions were closed.
