Nepal rebuffed India's advice on their Constitution. I am amused by forum members welcoming secular Nepal while they generally condemn secularism in India!!!

I'm not religious but definitely Spiritual. Fortunately for me, i don't have to convince the society that I belong to a particular religion. Bu I know every religion has to be respected. And I respect every religion and their practitioners.

I agree. The original intention was the Indian Peace Keeping Force would not be involved in large scale military operations.
But the agreement was violated. ( I came to know later) IPKF engaged the LTTE in a series of battles. There was serious outrage in the SriLankan Government. Ultimately IPKF was forced to withdraw.

Both are of the same kind but vary in their nature. Religion is related to body and mind; but spirituality to soul. One is enforced and the other is natural. I am both religious and spiritual. Religious in the sense that I am born and brought up in a family belonging to a particular religion. For me religion is a mask to convince the society that I am also a part of the same crowd. Whereas, spirituality is the very nature of my soul and I don’t have any words to express it.

India's Srilankan was very much of an interference.
I remember how bitterly that country was divided
on this with its then President and PM holding
completely contrarian views. in fact the PM Premadasa
openly ridiculing IPKF operations. It was a costly
and needless to say,triggered the process of throwing
this country into the open arms of China and Pakistan.
It has been the single misfortune of the people
of Asia ,especially S.E Asia that its leader never
rise above their petty egos and mutual suspicion
to forge constructive relationship s unlike leaders
of Europe.Even the USA has friendly and peaceful
relationship in its immediate neighborhood.

India's Srilankan was very much of an interference.
I remember how bitterly that country was divided
on this with its then President and PM holding
completely contrarian views. in fact the PM Premadasa
openly ridiculing IPKF operations. It was a costly
and needless to say,triggered the process of throwing
this country into the open arms of China and Pakistan.
It has been the single misfortune of the people
of Asia ,especially S.E Asia that its leader never
rise above their petty egos and mutual suspicion
to forge constructive relationship s unlike leaders
of Europe.Even the USA has friendly and peaceful
relationship in its immediate neighborhood.

This has been the news since a couple of days ...However I feel that although a mistake has been made, VW and more so the Germans would never take it easy until a thorough investigation is done and the person/s responsible are brought to justice .Already all major European countries have stopped the sale of the new vehicles fitted with the software and are going ahead with their own investigations...We have to see how this develops !

Though the emissions are shown that they are in the limits of permissible amount of pollution, during the tests, but in reality emissions are10 to 40 times the legal amount while on the road. Earlier too Volkswagen was involved in a scandal of the same kind.
